By: Rafael | August 29th, 2008Sorry for not writing any earlier, but with my 1 yr anniversary with my girlfriend and the no need to explain how easily Pumas defeated Pachuca (more like they defeated themselves). I was caught at home watching nothing this thursday night. Reason, a hurricane named Gustav is threatening the south of Jamaica. The game can possibly be played this friday but the conditions wiill be monitored closely. If it doesn’t get any better, the Pumas fans that made the trip (yes we have the most dedicated fan base in all of Mexico) will just have to head home if they haven’t already.
The Tropical storm has already killed 67 people throughout Haiti and the Dominican Republic. It is expected to become a full powered hurricane and officials in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas are already taking measures. As for the Pumas fans, they really got a good welcoming.
