Everything about Pumas in September summarized in one paragraph

By: Rafael | September 26th, 2008

So I haven’t been on lately because of back to school but I sure missed a lot. So here is a small summary of what has happened

International break ends and Pumas gets back to business. In a tight game where Ricardo Ferreti ends up getting a red card, Pumas scores two goals in injury time and goes top of the league. That same week Martin Bravo’s pass finally arrives and gets a red card in his first game involving the CONCACAF Champions league. Odín Patiño the backup goalkeeper ends up getting a red card as well and Pumas is lucky to get a 1-1 from Panama’s San Francisco. The next meeting was against Firpo. Pumas had no problem defeating them 3-0. After that Pumas and San Luis the 2 best teams in the league starred in the game of the weekend. San Luis ended up winning 1-0 and Pumas gets demoted to second in the league. Now Pumas sits in a weekend full of classicos where the spotlight is in Chivas, Atlas, Cruz Azul, and America. With that said Pumas still faces a tough game against Atlante (yes they beat us in the final not so long ago). Nothing less than a victory is expected
