5 games without a win and this kitten is angry

After almost 6 months of absence, I am back to address the dissapointment I am feeling right now in seeing my beloved team play this way. Today it seems we finished the transformation from title bidding Cougars to lingering, defenseless, almost bottom of the table kittens. With Leandro and old man Bernal out as our only casualties for today’s game, it seemed like even with the crisis we were facing we had enough to at least get a point out of El Jalisco.

Two goals from outside the box (Lucas Leiva and Edgar Pacheco respectively) paved the way for Atlas. Although both goals seemed impossible to stop, I am sick and tired of the mediocre performances our goalkeepers have put up. Bernal is getting old and it is obvious that we dont have an appropriate backup for when he FINALLY retires.

Tuca Ferreti could be on his last hours in this institution. We have a game against Cruz Azul this coming week for the CONCACAF Champions league. Tuca, if still in charge, is expected to field a team full of backups, but today was something else. In the first few games of the season, we played with 4 defenders and seemed to be playing well. Even when we lost against Toluca it seemed like we had some sort of ambition. These past few games Tuca has changed to 5 defenders. Why? I have no idea. Our defense is a mess and the team looks like is heading to a direction not even the players know of.

Our amazing fans who sing 90 minutes in every game deserve more than this. Tuca needs to get his tactics right or get sacked and our players need to show more determination on the pitch.
